Ania & Mary Photographed an awesome Batmitzvah at Studio 450 in Manhattan, NYC. They did an amazing job for the fun event. The decorations and set up was designed by my good friend Jeanne Costello of Jeanne Costello Designs. Check out the slideshow below to see the highlights from the Batmitzvah.

My first assignment of 07' was an exciting Batmitzvah party at the Westin Hotel @ Times Square. My crew and I had such an awesome time shooting Blayne's party. It made me wish I was a 13 year old girl again. Here are some highlights from the party with a link to check out more at the bottom.
Blayne getting ready for her big party.

The ballroom at the Westin was set up beautifully by Jeanne Costello Designs.

The funky cake was designed by Ron-Ben Israel, one of the best cake designers in the world.

The prettiest girl in front of her pretty party room.

Before the party started, Blayne's pals got to enjoy the entertainment room at the Westin.

Blayne's grandfather was a character.

In Batmitzvah tradition, the batmitzvah girl lights each candle with different and important people in her life. Here Blayne is helped out by mom and dad.

A liittle help from her brother Spencer and his pals.

The last candle Blayne lights herself.

The party gets live with the start of the hora.

Blayne's dad rocked the crowd with his singing.

Blayne's dad gave a fantastic toast to his daughter.

After the toast, the guests were treated to an cool video montage that included highlights from various times in Blayne's life.

Everybody had a blast with the montage.

The party comes to a close with a father daughter dance.

Jeanine and John's wedding back in February 21, 2004 was one of my favorite weddings of all time. I still remember all the special moments like when the whole bridal party sang the chorus for Bon Jovi's "Living on A Prayer" during the reception party and the flaming pinapple cake. Here's some shots I took from their wedding about three years ago.
Jeanine has also sent some of her good friends my way for wedding photography (Big thanks Jeanine!) and recently Jeanine and John decided that they wanted to start a family. I'm always excited when one of my couples have a baby but even more so when they ask me to take baby photos of their kids. Jeanine invited me over to her gorgeous Staten Island home to take some photos of adorable baby Dylan. Here's some of my favorites.

Absolutely adorable and since it's Christmas season now, I think these would make neat gift photos to give to friends and family.
