During the weekend getaway, I did a fun bridal photoshoot with my buddy Tanna. She's not married yet, but loved the idea of getting bridal portraits with a South Beach backdrop. One of the perks of being one of my buddies is always getting photos taken of you in a wedding gown, bellydance costume, or who knows what else I put my friends into for my photo projects. Here's some of my favorites from the bridal shoot.
Gina Pedone, the talented bridal gown designer and owner of Adriennes Bridal Salon held an amazing fashion show showcasing her new 07' line. The catered event was held at Gina's store and many top wedding industry professionals including the editors of New York Weddings Magazine, TheKnot, and various wedding planners attended the event. Since I couldn't attend the function, I sent my talented associate photographer, Julie Skya to cover the event. Below are just a few of the fabulous shots she took.
Remember a few weeks back I shot Tammy & Bryon's wedding. Well, I first met Tammy while shooting a fantastic wedding at The Westin Hotel @ Times Square where she was working as the wedding coordinator/ catering manager. That wedding also happened to get published by Manhattan Bride Magazine and TheKnot Magazine. Since then Tammy and I have become friends and I even occasionally shoot projects for the Westin Hotel @ Times Square. Well Tammy decided that she could use some more promotional photos of the hotel with models of a bride and groom. I asked one of my good friends Tina Krause (who also happens to be an actress/ model) to pose for the project with her boyfriend Fred. I'd also like to thank Adriennes Bridal Salon again for loaning me the beautiful wedding gown that Tina wore. Also, I'd like to thank Erica and Fernanda for helping out and assistanting me on the shoot (you two are the best). Here's some of the cool photos I took at the hotel.

We also shot some photos inside one of the Westin's gorgeous executive suites on the 45th floor. The views there were amazing.

After the girls got dressed up in their wedding gowns, I did some fashion photo shoots with them. Note that none of my girls are anywhere near getting married but they all loved posing for me. Gina Pedone loved the fashion photo shoot so much that she's planning on using my images here to update Adriennes' wedding gown website and may use my images for future advertising promotions.

After I shot the girls with their first gowns, it was time to shoot them in different wedding gowns. Here Fernanda is modeling the gown that Gina Pedone designed for her own wedding.
Fernanda looking great. I actually think Fernanda could model professionally (despite her claiming to be too shy). Fernanda has an exotic and slim look, gorgeous and symmetrical face and has the model height.

Ania chose an evening/ mother of the bride gown. I think the gown combined with her look gave this series of images an old film noir look.
