Julie Skya's Birthday @ Mesa Grill - March 5, 2008

For 08', we celebrated Julie's birthday at Mesa Grill Restaurant. Bobby Flay, prominent Iron Chef, is the owner and executive chef there and the food is some of the best in the world. Nothing but the best for my family of associate photographers. Mary Maris, another one of my associate shooters brought her camera along and shot some photos during the night.

Mary shot some portraits of Julie while we walked from the Empire State Building, our office, down to Mesa Grill which is near Chelsea.

Bellydance Photo Session with Jenean - March 2, 2008

Jenean is a beautiful bellydancer from Brooklyn, NYC. Besides being a great bellydancer, she's also a professional model. Here a few shots from the photo shoot.

Lisa & Jason Wedding - February 23, 2008

Lisa & Jason were a UK couple coming to NYC to have a destination wedding at my office building, the World Famous Empire State Building. My associates and I shoot quite a number of Empire State Building weddings and love the opportunity to shoot weddings in our own building. Below are a few shots shots from their intimate ceremony and a few portraits around the building.

Mary Cee Birthday - January 18, 2008

All the people that ever work for Lina Jang Photography are a part of my family. Whenever one of us has a birthday we all go out and celebrate. Mary Cee has interned for me for the past year and we all love her. Mary helps around at the office doing post production on photos and she has also assisted me on a couple of wedding assignments. Mary held her birthday party at her home in Brooklyn and her closest friends and family celebrated the day with us.

The Knot Best of Weddings 2008 Honors Lina Jang Photography

The Knot Magazine annually has their members select who they consider the best wedding vendors from every region of the United States. For 08', I was selected as one of the 16 best wedding photographers from NYC and received high praise from them. It's an honor to get this kind of recognition. Below is a great shot (photographed by my associate Mary Maris) of the award TheKnot gave me with me looking at the magazine in the background.

Rita Boudoir Session - January 13, 2008

I love shooting boudoir photography and 08' kicked off with a really hot boudoir session with Rita. She was really comfortable in front of the camera and we did some really risque shots. The entire session was shot at my beautiful and swanky boudoir bedroom studio. Most of the time I don't showcase these photos on my blog because my brides want to keep the photos private (we can all understand why). Rita was fine with me posting these and sharing them with my blog audience. We had a blast doing the shoot and I loved the photos. Below is a slideshow of some of my favorites.
