Dawn Lingerie Shower/Bachelorette Party - May 24, 2007

Since some of Dawn's closest friends live long distances away and came to her Hawaii wedding the week of the big day, Dawn decided to have her bachelorette party/lingerie shower that week. It was loads of fun and even I had a blast dancing at the the lounge/dance club.

The event took place at the Hookipa Terrace.

Dawn & Derek Wedding Portrait Session - May 22, 2007

I rarely shoot destination weddings but this past May, I shot a spectacular wedding in Hawaii. Dawn and Derek had a breathtaking wedding. My past client and good friend Saranya (one of my special brides from 05') referred me for the job. Thanks Saranya for providing me with the opportunity to shoot such a wedding. Anyhow, the day I arrived in Waikiki, Hawaii, I met up with Dawn and Derek to photograph a pre wedding portrait session of the two of them around the the landmark areas on their island. I had such a memorable time and tour of the area. Below are just a few of the awesome shots I took that day.

We had such an awesome time during the shoot and shared dinner at a great local Vietnamese restaurant. Derek chatted about his awesome job. He interviews celebrities and musicians for the art section for the Waikiki newspaper. More photos from my Hawaii excursion coming soon.

Bellydance Photo Shoot with Cristina - May 20, 2007

I usually don't get a chance to shoot fine art photos in the middle of the wedding season but I squeezed in an awesome shoot with super talented dancer, Cristina. Cristina and I were actually bellydance classmates years ago when I used to take bellydance classes. Unfortunately, I just don't get the time to take classes anymore. Here's some of my favorites from the shoot. We had a blast.

Robin & John Wedding - May 19, 2007

Back in May, I shot a magical wedding at Tavern on the Green in Manhattan, NYC. Mary Maris my associate shooter helped me out on this one. Below are some of my favorites from the wedding.

Robin got ready in the world famous Trump Tower Hotel. The view from the window overlooking Central Park was awesome.

Robin happens to be a professional designer and craftsman. She created her own programs, invites, wedding favors, and table place ornaments. The stuff was so beautiful and unique. In all my years of being in the wedding business I've never seen DIY stuff taken to this level of professionalism. All the stuff below, Robin made.

Kathryn & Alex Wedding - May 19, 2007

Gina & Alan Engagement Session - May 17, 2007

Remember I shot Gina's bridal shower back in March. Well, in May I shot her and Alan's fun engagement session. Below are some of my favorites from the session.

We started the session at South Street Seaport.

I think this shot of Alan playing Mr. Caricature Artist is so cute.

After Seaport we walked across the Brooklyn Bridge.

We had such a fun time on the engagement session and it was just a prelude to the great time we had at Gina and Alan's wedding.

Alex's Batmitzvah - May 13, 2007

Minoo & Robert Wedding - May 12, 2007

Julie and Ania, my dynamic duo associate shooters shot an incredible wedding at the world famous Pierre Hotel. The wedding was an inter-faith wedding that combined elements of Jewish and Iranian traditions. My wedding assignment with Susie and Haider was an afternoon wedding that took place only a few blocks away from the Pierre. After my wedding was finished I actually was able to walk over to the Pierre and help Julie and Ania out a little with Minoo & Robert's fabulous evening wedding at the Pierre. Susie & Haider Wedding - May 12, 2007

A while back I shot an awesome multi-cultural wedding at Central Park Boathouse in Manhattan, NYC. My awesome associate shooter Mary Maris helped me out on this one. Below are some of my favorites and a link to check out more pics is at the bottom.

Keisha & Eugene Vow Renewal - May 6, 2007
