Tennille's Baby Shower - January 13, 2007

Tennille and I were buddies since high school at the LaGaurdia School of Art in NYC. I was a photo/art major and she was a drama major. I still remember being in history and math classes with her. Since high school, Tennille has gone on to become a teacher at the NYC School for the Deaf where she teaches completely in sign language. Recently she had a baby shower for her upcoming and first child and I was thrilled to be invited to the small party and I took a few snapshots while I was there having fun.

Bea & Adam Wedding - January 7, 2007

The first official 07' wedding was a small intimate Central Park ceremony. Bea and Adam were such a laid back and down to earth couple. Here's some shots from their intimate wedding.

The Jang Gang

Blayne's Batmitzvah - January 6, 2007

My first assignment of 07' was an exciting Batmitzvah party at the Westin Hotel @ Times Square. My crew and I had such an awesome time shooting Blayne's party. It made me wish I was a 13 year old girl again. Here are some highlights from the party with a link to check out more at the bottom.

The funky cake was designed by Ron-Ben Israel, one of the best cake designers in the world.

Gigi & Michael Wedding - December 31, 2006

On New Years Eve 06', I shot a beautiful multi culture wedding at the V.I.P. Country Club in New Rochelle. Here are some highlights from the wedding and there a link to check out more at the bottom.

Lina Jang Photography Christmas Dinner - December 23, 2006

Every Year I like to take my crew out to a Christmas holiday dinner party to celebrate the past year. In 06', I took everyone to my favorite Mediterranean restaurant in Brooklyn, MyMoon, located in Williamsburg.

It was a rainy night but the rain didn't dampen our good mood and spirit.

Infinity Info Systems Holiday Party - December 22, 2006

For the past two years, I've had the pleasure of photographing the holiday parties for Infinity Info Systems . They're one of the top companies in the world that specialize in technology management solutions and software. They're a really fun bunch and know how to party and I've actually shot beautiful weddings for some of the companies' employees. This year, they had an Arabian Knights theme which is so cool since the visuals of that theme are right up my fine art photography alley. The look of the gorgeous event was coordinated by none other than the talented Lindsay Landman. I absolutely love working with her and her team. Here's some photos from the amazing event.

The party was held at the Altman Building in Chelsea, NYC.

The first order of the festivities was a bellydancing performance by my good friend Sira. Besides being a good friend of mine, Sira happens to be one of NYC's best and most established bellydancers. I was happy to refer her and her assistant for the job.

Bridal Portrait Shoot with Tanna - December 18, 2006

During the weekend getaway, I did a fun bridal photoshoot with my buddy Tanna. She's not married yet, but loved the idea of getting bridal portraits with a South Beach backdrop. One of the perks of being one of my buddies is always getting photos taken of you in a wedding gown, bellydance costume, or who knows what else I put my friends into for my photo projects. Here's some of my favorites from the bridal shoot.

South Beach Vacation With Two Of My Best Friends - December 16-19, 2006

Back in the middle of December, I took a mini weekend vacation with two of best buddies. I really don't get a chance to do these things any other time of the year because my wedding business takes up my weekend time. We had a blast in South Beach, Florida and we all needed a little sun and nice weather (NYC being chilly in December). We took some silly snapshots of ourselves during the trip and here's few of them.

We stayed at the Lido Spa Hotel and yes the spa was great. After a full summer and fall wedding season, I really needed that.

Palm trees are a staple of Florida and really set the mood for the type of vacation we wanted.

We met at an art opening 10 years ago and have become great friends. On the right is my friend Tanna, a fantastic bellydancer.
