Another great fine art shoot with a fantastic dancer. Mariyah and I have worked before on another dance shoot and she was also involved with Dalia Carella's theatre production. Here's some cool shots from the recent shoot.
Back in December of 06', I got a chance to shoot a small intimate wedding for an English couple right in my office building, The Empire State Building. For many European couples, NYC is their dream location to get married. Here's a few shots from their lovely wedding.
I first met up with Kathryn & Sean at their hotel and I took a few pics of them while they headed off to the ceremony.

Getting into an authentic NYC taxi.

The awesome NYC skyline view from the ceremony room in the Empire State Building.

Kathryn & Sean's wedding bands.

I love expression shots of the bride and groom during the ceremony.

While I was capturing stills of the ceremony, the best man was filming video.

Their first kiss as husband and wife.

Signing the marriange license.

After the beautiful ceremony, I took the couple up to the awesome observatory for a romantic ending shot.

While the show "Who's Wedding Is It Anyway?" does showcase beautiful and romantic weddings, it's really about the adventures and duties wedding planners have when trying to help create the perfect wedding. The episode I was involved with featured the awesome work of Lindsay Landman, one of the best wedding planners on the East Coast. I'm always thrilled to work with Lindsay and her crew and it's an honor to work with such comsumate and dedicated professionals. The clip here from the episode, introduces Natasha and Tom and Lindsay Landman Events. During the part where Natasha & Tom discuss how they met and what they're all about, they show a quick slideshow of some of the images I shot from their engagement session (I was so excited when I saw my photos on TV). The Style Network is still reruning the episode so if you haven't gotten a chance to watch it, you can check listings for the next time they show it. If not, let me know because I got plenty of copies of the show with me.
During my trip to Italy in November, the hit cable TV show "Who's Wedding Is It Anyway?" (on The Style Network) featured Natasha & Tom's amazing Rainbow Room wedding. I loved shooting their wedding and the clip here from the episode shows me and my crew in action during the wedding. Being the unobtrusive photojournalists that we are, you really only see glimspes of us in action during the episode. However, I put this clip in slow motion so you can notice Julie, Ania, and me a little better.

The next edition of Manhattan Bride is about to hit the newstands and in it, they feature one of my amazing 2006 weddings. Everybody be sure to check it out!
Congratulations to Tammy and Bryon. I had a blast shooting their wedding back in April 06' (more of their wedding pics can be found on this blog from 04.Posts 31-40).
I'd like to announce the launch of my new photography website devoted to my boudoir photography.
The website features some of the most sexy and beautiful images I've shot in the last couple of years as well as info on my boudoir photography service. Please check it out and I know you'll enjoy it.
WARNING: The website may not be appropriate to view at work (depending on where you work), so you may want to check it out in the privacy of your home.
During my visit to the island of Capri, I met up with an amazing Italian bellydancer from the island of Palermo. Whenever I travel around the world, I always hook up with dancers from that region to do fine art photo shoots with the natural elements set as backdrops. We traveled on foot for over an hour up to the topest mountain region of the Capri Island, the Ruins of Villa Jovis. The ruins were once the palace Tiberius, ruler of the Roman empire from A.D. 27 to A.D. 37. The ruins were abandoned and gave us a secluded backdrop for an awesome photoshoot. Here's just a few pics from the shoot.
