Elaine & David Wedding - April 17, 2008

Elaine & David were a couple from the UK that came to NYC to have a intimate destination wedding with some of their closest friends and relatives. They had their wedding ceremony at the world famous Empire State Building, where my office is located.

Debbye & Gerald Engagement Session - April 12, 2008

Aislinn & David Wedding - April 5, 2008

The beginning of the 08' spring/summer wedding season kicked off with a great wedding at the Yale Club of NY. Below are a few of my favorites from the wedding plus a link to check out more at the bottom of the post.

The Yale Club has a classic phone booth on the 2nd floor which is perfect for campy portraits.

They had their wedding ceremony at the gorgeous Church of Savior on 38St and Park Ave. The church is like 3 blocks away from my apartment on 34th St. I pass by it every other day and it was nice to finally get a chance to shoot there.

Stephanie & Geoffrey Engagement Session - March 30, 2008

At the end of March, I photographed a fun engagement session in Central Park. The couple, Stephanie and Geoffrey were going to have their wedding at the Atlantica Yacht in NYC.

Las Vegas Vacation - March 21-24, 2008

Before the wedding season was going to kick off, I wanted to take a fun vacation. This year, I went with two of my best buddies to Las Vegas for a much needed vacation.

  

We flew JetBlue and here's a shot from the airplane window. 

We stayed at the Paris Hotel in Vegas. 

My two vacation buddies. Lavinia, one of my former brides (from 06') who has since become one of my best friends and Tina Krause, horror movie actress who has been one of my best friends for the last decade.

During our first night in Vegas, we went dining at TAO, an upscale Chinese Restaurant.

On the second day we went to the Circus Circus casino to check out the circus show.

We went to check out Wedding chapels after the show.

Me with a recent Vegas couple that had a $99 fast wedding.

We went to check out Old Vegas. 

While we were in Old Vegas, the three of us went into a blue screen video shop and made a hilarious dancing heads video. Here we are checking it out.

We went up to the Stratosphere roller coaster. On the way up, I got a blue screen portrait.

At a nightclub after we went to check out the "O" Circue Du Solei show. 

The last night in Vegas, we went to check out a Chip-N-Dales show. It was great and we got some souvenir shots with the cute guys.

Michelle & Andrew Wedding - March 20, 2008

Michelle & Andrew were a couple from the UK that had an intimate destination wedding in NYC. I photograph lots of destination weddings for couples from the UK, Scotland and the Netherlands every year and Michelle and Andrew were one of my favorites.

Circus Elephants Outside My Apartment - March 19, 2008

Every Year the Ringling Bros. Circus comes to NYC and the elephants walk across 34th Street to get to Madison Square Garden. The movie "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" had a clip of the scene. The movie is also one of my favorites. Anyhow my 3rd floor apartment on 34th Street and Park Avenue has a good view of the elephant trek. I shot a few snapshots from my window and ran out to get a few more snapshots.

There's always a large crowd that gathers before the elephants come. It's a neighborhood pastime to watch.

Linda & Michael Wedding - March 16, 2008

A few weeks back I photographed a Jewish Wedding at the Yale Club in NYC.
